I used not like Payton, but after the iterview I've changed. I think he would bring a lot of insight into that booth.

The comercials are killers!!! It was not a good game to watcjh until the 3rd quarter when we drove it 99 yards while the announcers where troling..... and Vern looks like porky pig.

Massive commercial blocks eat up the enjoyment - according to my own unscientific survey, CBS sells far more commercial time for these games than ESPN or ABC. Which means there are big blocks of "down-time" with nothing going on the field, both in the stadium and the living room whenever CBS broadcasts a game

With the amount of money they're paying the SEC, what do you expect?

Its something of a lame tradition for several hundred "CBS sucks" threads to make their way to this site every year

Toward the end of the game, there was about 10 seconds of silence. I told the wife, "finally, they have run out of stories about which player from 10 years ago was raised by a cleaning lady with a fricking wooden leg or how many times Perrilloux shat his pants in grade school"...but then we realized that the audio was out. It was 10 seconds of pure heaven... gasoline and a match would be too merciful for these two asshats.
