No Kidding.. If we want to be an option team which is what it loooks like, we need to put someone in who knows how to run the option..

No if we wanted to be an option team we would need to move Sheppard back to QB because he can actually be a run threat in the option. Then use our other weapons to our advantage and run it. This would never happen but seems to be the only way it would work. JJ is not a option quarterback imo.

EXCELLENT POINT!!!!!!!!! I forgot about that point last night on the coaches show, but Charles H said it and I agree whole heartedly.
If we're going run the option, then go out and recruit a true option style qb. Don't recruit Chris Garrett or Zach Lee or Steven Rivers.

Do you mean those athletic QB's like RS, Spencer Ware, Terrence Magee, Paul Turner, Morris Claiborne et al. I think we have recruited those types of QB's out of high school, but I don't think we ever intended those guys for the Option. Just not or style, which begs the question of why we do it with JJ?
