Maybe I missed it but has there been any update on Carley Hoover. I don't think she has pitched in couple of weeks?
Thanks!

No she's not

She's day to day

She could pitch but Torina didn't want to risk it before post season. To top it off, it's a back problem and you don't mess with stuff like that. We took every precaution the last two weeks to ensure the healthiest Hoover for this post season

Keeping fingers crossed! Back problems can be a real mess ask former LSU and current ULL player O'Neal Lockridge and LSU's current Josh Smith!

They have never said that. Why would you say that? She’s been pitching daily but why use her right now if you don’t need her? Let her rest for the post season.

Agreed, but I think hers are different. She and Smith both are having spasms. Prior to that, Smith had a vertebrae problem. I personally think, his spasms are due to the fact that the muscles around there haven’t been as strong as the rest of his body due to resting and started pushing it too fast. Carley’s may be due to what she does every day, pitching, working out, etc. That’s just a guess though. I would almost guarantee if we need her, she will pitch. This is it for her.

Thanks for the info but in my personal uneducated-about-softball pitchers opinion.......we WILL need her as a power alternative to Walljasper's style.

And I do think she will pitch. That’s my professional opinion. Lol.
