Regarding New Orleans. Anyone who grew up in the greater New Orleans area knows that New Orleans is an LSU town by far. I grew up on the North Shore and in Metairie and the people I knew in Metairie were at least 70% LSU, Maybe 10%-12% Tulane, and the rest were fans of whoever. On the Northshore it's almost all LSU. Anyone who doubts this doesn't know what the Hell he is talking about.
Now the Tulane fans would always glom onto whoever had beaten LSU or were ranked #1 just to try to put LSU down. Hell they were Notre Dame fans for awhile. I am positive that is one of those types you ran into who pretended to be a Bama fan.
