He was forced to play as much as he did because of injuries and lack of depth, but he definitely held his own and earned his spot. Hopefully one or both of McKinley and Reliford and do something similar.

We have some solid talent at LB, if not tons of experienced depth. We know Perkins and Weeks have the athleticism to cause problems. And the DE spot is a strength in both numbers and talent. A creative DC, which we have now and definitely didn’t last year, should be able to do something with that.

DE doesn’t suck at all. Not even close. Certainly not the way you seem to really want them to.
