Fraud. Methinks I sniff the stench of Bama dirty tricks. Timing is at least very curious.

So Frank Wilson is ready for a HC job at a small Texas School but you couldn't have just promoted him to OC at a Power 5 school and paid him accordingly and kept one of your top recruiters? The OC job at LSU is going to pay a lot more than HC where he is. It's worked out for McElwain, Smart, Muschamp, Herman.
Just an opinion, but it's probably safe to say that Miles had a "meeting" after the A&M game with not only Alleva, but more than likely a room full. I'm sure they laid out a solid plan moving forward after that fiasco that played out so publicly and got names and email correspondence of LSU representatives, board and committee members put out there on public display by the media. Aranda was who they wanted last year. The "Miles clause" was removed from contract talks. Aranda is hired on a three year contract with no clause and they didn't nickel and dime him. New contracts are being worked out with other current staff members. Of course they didn't want to lose Frank Wilson, but he wanted the opportunity to be a head coach. I can say without hesitation that in that meeting, Miles was not given the option to just continue the status quo and keep the same offense Cameron was allowed to run or just promote Wilson to offensive coordinator. If Cameron is gone, which looks like will be the case, the meeting of the minds will point to hiring the equivalent of an Aranda on offense and to let the guy run his offense with little interruption. That's my take on it and I'm sticking to it. Regardless, it's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out. This is what makes coming to Tigerdroppings interesting. And as always......
