Buying tickets outside of the stadium

Do y’all think I could find tickets for the Bama game outside of the stadium for a good price? Does anyone know how much people were selling tickets for the UGA game were before kickoff? #FreeDevinWhite

With patience and a little bit of luck, yes. You have to be willing to tell about 30 people no, and wait until as close to kick off as you can.

I was thinking of making an impromptu trip with my boys, if sports schedules will allow it. That said, i am anticipating 1200-1600 for 4 tix

Those tickets become worthless once the game starts. The people selling the tickets don't want to miss kickoff. They will be dirt cheap 10 minutes till 7.

Well, if you are willing to pay that you will find 4 tickets for sure.
There will be tons of scalpers. They will be the most visible, and will surround you like sharks when they know you are looking.
The key is to wait, while laughing at the scalpers. If you are holding up fingers and let it be known you are looking, you can usually find somebody walking by that may have extra tickets on them and aren't really trying hard to sell. These people will usually give them to you for face, or right around it.

Oh, id buy ahead of time on stubhub the day before we leave. Last time i used a scalper i sold a single at the iron bow and ended up with a handful of counterfeit 20s.

This is how it is no matter how big the game is. I've never had a problem getting good prices from fans outside tiger stadium. The people trying to get top dollar are the ones selling tickets now.

Key is to not buy them from a scalper. There is a difference between someone with an extra ticket going into the game, and a scalper. Usually it is extremely easy to tell the difference between the two.

Scalpers usually look like they woke up in a ditch or are from The Bottom. Trashy looking people

I've done it tons for other people. Enjoy your day, but don't act like a drunk fool when you are trying to find tickets. The people you want selling you a ticket might be selling you a seat next to them, and they aren't going to want you to sit next to them if you look like a fool.
At about 6, start holding a finger up, and don't put it down. Tell the scalpers to screw off, and find a real fan trying to dump a ticket.

Oh, also check the ticket exchange frequently. You might get lucky and find a good deal. However, be careful with that as well. Try to find someone in your area that you can meet up with somewhere to get it. If it seems shady, it probably is.

$200 a piece outside of Gate 8/9 around 10am.
