Watching these awards it just hammers home how much things have changed in CFB in a very short time.

All three of these dudes transferred from outstanding programs to other powerhouses and achieved great success. But the programs they left also have stayed extremely successful with great players as well.

I was skeptical of relying on transfers as a consistent and long term avenue to success at the QB position, which is why I was so disappointed when we didn’t bring in a QB/offensive system guy to lead the program so we could always rely on that expertise.

Home grown and developed talent may not be completely a thing of the past, but there really is potential to keep this going. Just a thought as we are seeing this play out with all of them on the stage together.

Both Hurts and Burrow were Grad Transfers.

I am glad the portal exists. There is always adjustments to any change. But, it’s a net good

Yeah I corrected BHP, was typing fast but realized my mistake. Just meant transfers in general

I'm all for grad transfers. If you go to a school and earn your degree, you've fulfilled what you came to college for. Justin Fields shouldn't be playing college football this year. The fake racist crap to become eligible immediately is garbage.

If a strong team has a glaring weakness (e.g., LSU QB), there will be a player in the shadows somewhere. It’s still a double edge sword.

This will be unpopular with some but if the right QB pops up I wouldn’t be surprised if O pulls the trigger again on another transfer.

No one will know your transfer “for sure” either.

It is all opinion. I believe in Myles.

Well, he better be, because we can't even take a grad transfer this year. So you can get that thought out of your brain.
