He called them out last week. Made them answer the call.

Well done young man. Well done.

Agree and great to see Hines in there as well when Brumfield got knicked.

I do see a lot of folks today acting like Hines was in the game down the stretch in that last drive and he was not. It was Brumfield.

This was the biggest surprise for me.

You can’t ask for a better leader than Brumfield upfront. It definitely helps mold the younger guys and show them how things should be. I have been pleasantly surprised with Cushenberry. He has been possibly our most steady O-Lineman so far this year. Very smart player. There was one play, early in the game, where Burrow dropped back to pass and the AU DL ran a stunt up the middle and Cush peeled off helping Brumfield and knocked the D-Lineman on his arse letting Burrow step up into the pocket and make the throw.

I was sitting section 30 row 1 right behind the bench. When he came out in first half he was serious pain. I could not tell what the nature of the injury was but looked like a shoulder, chest or arm injury. The fact he found a way to get back into the game is incredible enough. He is a freaking warrior.

Cushenberry has been spot on. He’s been nailing his line calls as well. He’s playing like a seasoned, veteran center.

One of my favorite high school players that I coached against. Never took a play off even when he overmatched his defender and even if the play was away. Always blocked to the whistle. Happy to see him having success
