I say this all the time. The main ones that scream to fire CPM the most are ones that are going to be upset when LSU doesn’t end up getting 1 of the 5 college baseball coaches they know.

It’s another example of looking at baseball with a football mentality in my opinion. College baseball coaches care more about stability than the money and there isn’t a single school in America that would even consider firing their coach if they had CPM’s resume. I like this mentality from the fanbase and definitely don’t want it to change, but that same mentality will also keep some coaches from coming to LSU.

To me Tony Vitello is the best guy LSU can get that will realistically take the job. He is the next great coach in college baseball in my opinion.
