It's actually wild this guy spent 4 years here, got $100MM and we are just as far away from being where we want to be as when he showed up.
This was the absolute ultimate con job.
Just wild.

I just glad we didn't just do the lazy thing and give Frank the job. Need a reset and I think there is no bigger reset than moving from BK to Lane Kiffin.

To be fair, with the portal, every college football program is year to year now. There is no building depth or building a program anymore. You build a team on a year to year basis.

Universities have allowed coaches’ agents to hold all the leverage. Let’s be honest, if I were earning top 5–10 salaries in my field with a 10-year deal that’s practically guaranteed, I probably wouldn’t feel the same pressure to overperform either. In today’s college football, programs have to balance massive NIL payouts with huge coaching contracts. The real question is, would top transfers rather chase the biggest paycheck or play for the best coach? At this point, I’m not even sure championships matter when millions of dollars are on the line.

CFB died in 2019.
Whatever this shite is that we are watching now is just lagniappe of who's boosters buy the best team each year.

He was good at the con. Preseason we were all like “we have depth and the program is in good shape”.
This team is small, weak, lacks technique, has zero toughness or grit.
Just a bad bad football team stemming from a terrible culture of coddling and softness.

Not really, though it isn't great by any stretch.

He sure did. He is a loser.
