LSU named Distinguished Military College by U.S. Department of War | wwltv.com LINK
Mississippi State is another of the 5 announced. The others are:
Tuskegee University
Liberty University
Hillsdale College
quote:
The designation recognizes LSU’s long history of military service and leadership while giving the university a potential stepping stone toward becoming a Senior Military College, a designation currently held by six schools nationwide.
“LSU's history has long been tied to service, leadership and preparing graduates to meet the needs of our state and nation,” LSU Chancellor Dr. Jim Dalton said in a post on X. “This designation recognizes that long-standing commitment and positions LSU to build on that legacy for the next generation of military and civilian leaders.”
