Bottom line is we absolutely have the best starting five in women’s basketball, and arguably the best to ever be assembled. I mean there is literal all americans at each starting position with the exception Flaujae, and she’s an all american on any other team. I understand we have a lack of bench development up to this point with injury’s, and possibly some conditioning issues.

But is this first team with an abundance of star players to under achieve? Does anyone remember the real Fab 5, I do. Or what Saban had to juggle during most years? It’s a great “problem to have!” I trust in Kim’s ability at this point in the season to continue to coach these stars up, and get them to play much better as team, well in time for the tournament. The greats always find a way!

With Kim Mulkey, we’re always going to have a loaded roster and a chance at a deep run in the dance EVERY year, so try to enjoy the ride!

The problem is that it's 3 shooting guards, a small forward, and a power forward. There's no point guard or center. It's definitely the best 5 individual players on a team this season. That doesn't always equate to best team. You could talk about the lack of depth too but I don't really think that's the problem as much as the positional issue.
