There you go with that assine 'we' again when you aren't part of the team nor made the sacrifice to do so.

Beau Jordan is a class act who goes all out all of the time, which is more that I can say for your post.

Beau has been consistently bad all season.
He's the lesser of evils and there's nothing in stats that jumps out at you to force the change. His SO/AB and SO/BB ratio are better than the other DH candidates.
All those calling for his head were prolly saying same about Pap a month or so ago.

no confidence at anyone on the bench because we haven't given them enough looks before to see if any of them are worth a start or even a pinch hit?

no man, that simply is not true. every damn guy on our bench has had enough "looks". It appears they all are in a "slump". like another poster said, Jordon can look atrocious but he has his upside too. and he's lucky that not every pitcher has a slider.

I'm positive that Slaughter would be an upgrade at 1st, but the question is if he can produce better than Jordan the rest of the year.

I think Slaughter got the "willies" during the year. he's just a freshman and started out OK but went into a slump and just was messed up about it. he needed some time off and hopefully he's been in the cage busting his butt getting ready for his next chance.

Uhhh--Did you Beau haters read the team stats for the season posted earlier in the week?

Beau is absolutely, according to the stats, our best clutch hitter--batting something like .450 with RISP and two outs.

He's the kind of person that would rather hear only good things about LSU(even if it's what's best for the program)...rather than the truth.

You can't discuss ways to improve LSU if it contradicts what he considers the status quo. That's just how some people think.
