There was another thread I posted on that was a few weeks earlier that is no longer available where the OVERWHELMING majority of gumps predicted approximately 10 wins last year with a shot at the NC if they got a few breaks. They mostly liked to say that in '06 the gumpers were close in every loss and SABAN would make the difference in turning those into W's in '07.

... which is pretty much what they're saying now about '07 & '08

Just watched a replay of the bama spring game and I for one am absolutely not worried at all. Saban's great defensive blitzing schemes look ineffective against any form of spread.

Bama will shite and fall back in it. I cant wait till those idiots go 6-6 again, would love to see who they are going to blame it on. Their feelings will certainly be hurt. Meltdown in gumpland.

So if Saban and Bama win this game, He did it with Shula's players.....

Yes and with every Bama win till every Shula player is gone, just using the Bama logic that they use with Miles...

Bama didn't start the Miles is winning with Saban's players crap, that was started by alot of you guys.

Nicky will have to win this year, or the Saban myth will begin to crumble!

That will be true on the national level when everyone realizes it was all about locking down the state in recruiting (which I give saban credit for). Louisiana made Saban.

Never under estimate the level of delusion that Bama fans are notorious for. They will come up with some kind of excuse.

Excuses are for losers. The gumps should be able to relate to this statement very well.

Yea, ok dumbfrick. I bet at the turn of the decade it'll be better than Saban's in the same time frame.

I guess you're conceding the argument about Saban then? Truth hurts? If Saban hadnt come to the state of Louisiana he would be just another "just above average" coach at best.
