It's definitely a combination of things.
Good D + bad officiating + bad shooting + coach letting things get out of control= 14pt deficit

the lack of any other threats is making our two freshman stringer and turner have to take bad shots, there is no one else to guard on the floor but them two and dotson maybe. Sucks we have to depend on Freshman for so much but we want to yank stringer and turner? if it wasnt for them being so productive we wouldnt even be competitive

no reason for taking shite shots. when bigs go out its called ball movement and players moving without the ball. no reason for complete shite we called shots that half. its disappointing the coaches are allowing this

I think the team just became frustrated in the latter half of the half.
Ice cold from the floor, feel like they aren't getting some of the calls from the refs, Wichita St. knocking down some buckets, etc. I think they felt like they just needed to do something to get a rhythm going. So, you are seeing some breakdown in organization, and there's no semblance of an offense.
