Sounds like you were listening to 1420 in Lafayette. They will always talk crap about LSU fans. USL fans are holier than thou. I have never been to one of their sporting events without hearing one of them telling the opposing team how bad the LSU fans are. Jay Walker & his little protege are a joke. Tiger Stadium scares the hell out them and their Football teams.

We are ranked #7 because our name is LSU...who else are they gunna put up there in the top 10. If anyone voting actually watched the games, and saw our O and D lines getting dominated by ULL we would not be top 10. If we do not improve big time by bama, florida, georgia....well it's not going to be pretty.

Well, they certainly can't "talk crap about" bout LSU football, basketball, or baseball teams, so what do they have left but for our fans?

Some Tiger fans are looking for "style" points in these wins so far.....that aint happened yet and may not...Im still hoping for the best but definitely feel there are 10 to 15 teams that could whup our azz on any Satuday!

I think this is just a tad bit hyperbolic.
I team that scores three points and allows 31 wasn't dominating the line of scrimmage.

That's what's great about college football though. There IS a we. If you are a student or an alumnus, you place a part of your identity into the college and consequently, it's athletic program.

But I think this is mostly what's causing all the angst. People don't really know how good this team is, so they set expectations based on the success of previous teams. go watch the game again...and look closely at just the line play (like someone who know football) and you will see what I'm talkin about. If we don't get better line play we are gunna have a tough time beating BAMA, UGA, FLA, etc. You can have brett favre at qb, randy moss at wr, and marshall faulk at rb and won't win with that play of the front lines.

Getting penetration and putting forth a dominant performance are not at all the same thing. and FWIW, any team that has three 30+ year old future HOFs playing on a college team is going to be dominant.

I was listening to a local sports radio station yesterday and the guy was talking about the cajuns, tigers and saints. Well, he talked about the cajuns then the saints and when he got to LSU he said "and tiger fans are mad because they are 3 and 0".said that tigers fans need to get real. 3 and 0. Ranked 7 in the country. He said Oh thats horrible. I kind of agree. I steady have to defend my tigers to other "tiger fans" .I just don't understand why our fans are so upset with the team.

of course lsu is 3-0. they're supposed to be 3-0. why should i be happy about 3-0 based off the competition we've faced.
