Dear LSU Baseball Season Ticket Holder,
As you are aware, the Southeastern Conference announced that all remaining competitions are cancelled for the remainder of the spring athletic year due to the continuing developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). As a result, we have determined that all season ticket holders will receive a prorated refund of season ticket costs and if applicable parking costs for the games that were unable to be played.
Our records show that you purchased your season tickets with a credit card. You will automatically be refunded for ticket and any applicable parking purchases back to the card used for the original purchase. Those purchases will automatically be refunded in seven to ten business days.
You also have made a Tradition Fund contribution as part of your season ticket purchase. There are two options for you to choose from regarding your Tradition Fund contribution: (1) the opportunity to receive the prorated portion (63.9%) of your Tradition Fund payment refunded, or (2) you may make a contribution to the Athletic Director Excellence Fund. Your donation will be 100% tax-deductible and will increase your philanthropic priority point ranking. You will receive 2 points per $1,000, and bonus points based on your giving level in the current year. Please note that the deadline for philanthropic priority points is March 31, 2020. Selecting the one-time donation prior to the March 31 deadline would increase your priority point ranking as it relates to the upcoming football season tickets and parking permits, men’s and women’s basketball season tickets and parking permits, and gymnastics season tickets. For information on priority points and bonus priority points, click here.
Please note, if you choose to receive a refund, this may affect your priority point ranking with TAF (Tiger Athletic Foundation).
Please complete the form located HERE by March 31 to acknowledge you would like to donate your contribution. Acknowledgements are due by March 31, all other accounts will automatically be refunded to the account on file in the same payment type originally submitted to LSU. Tradition Fund refunds will be processed separately from your season ticket refund.
LSU Athletics hopes that all of our fans, both locally and globally, can remain safe and healthy. We are grateful for your support, and look forward to seeing you back at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field in the future.
