Not blaming Les except for the crappy QB situation which has become part of his legacy. But look back at the MANY games which LSU, under Les, was exceedingly lucky to win.
While you're at it, do this for Saban too.
It will surprise you

Bull Hockey !
Their players performed when it was on the line. Ours didn't. Period.
Keep them from going 55 yds in 50 secs, we win…..we couldn't …not because of coaching. Catch the 1st down pass in OT….we didn't. Run 10 yds for the 1st down in OT…we didn't…..not because of coaching.
Players got to play!

You are dead wrong.
Hate Saban, but don't let it get in the way of facts, he is clearly the better coach of the 2. That being said, Miles is a great coach in his own right.

And they never seem to have a rebuilding year like we are supposed to be having. The just reload.

Les was not outcoached in that game. Bama is very lucky to have won.

For us this comes in cycles. We will not be good every year. Too many good coaches and too many good teams.
Be happy with what we have. A good young team.

The Vadal shove didn't "happen to him". That was a lack of discipline.
That and the kickoff point to a lack of composure. We were the home team, we should not have list our composure.

Well again you could have just said you LOVE SABAN and are still dick hurt all these years later. So when we beat Bama the next two years what will you be saying then??? And edit your title and post and take miles name out and insert any coach in America and it will still be fact. Any coach

I do not "love Saban", and I am far from "dick hurt", especially about anything I do not control the outcome of. I am simply a fan who isn't a homer. My team isn't always the best. The refs don't cost us every game. The fix isn't in on LSU. LSU is one of the premier programs in the nation, without a doubt. The problem for us is Bama is THE premier program in the nation. Our guys continue to make critical mistakes in critical moments and it's showing with the loss of 4 straight to Gump U. LSU & Bama recruit the same caliber of talent year in and year out, but Saban is winning H2H vs Miles. He has more NT rings, one at Miles expense. As far as I can tell, that leaves one major thing: scheme/coaching
None of this is to imply CLM sucks, because that is far from true. LSU players imposed their will for most of the game, but when crunch time came, they choked. Something has to be done about this or the trend will continue.
If we beat Bama the next 2 years I will be the same fan I am today, but with bragging rights to a few friends. I will attend games when I can, watch every weekend and support the team & school. That said, 2 wins would still leave Saban with an edge in H2H & NT's. So I would still say he is the better coach & hope our staff could continue the hypothetical win streak you speak of.
