I wouldn't want this site to go that far, but a little more quality control would be nice, and probably have a positive impact on recruiting.

I live in S. Alabama (Mobile area), and the situation is MUCH different than what you are discerning from message boards. The Bama fans go insane after a loss. MUCH worse than with any other fan base that I've ever seen.
People crying, (yes I had a patient start getting misty eyed and grabbed a tissue when she mentioned the game from last night), to people saying things such as ("I'm ready for Saban to retire. The game has passed him by. We need to force him into retirement, so we can hire Dabo, NOW!"), etc.
I'm certainly not on FaceBook, by my wife is, and the amount of grown women dropping extreme vulgarity last night during the game, was just nuts.
TRUST ME... they melt harder than ANYBODY. I just shake my head that the level of insanity with that group.
