I will post this question and will look forward to the responses......Why doesn't LSU football ever make a change at quarterback during a game (1) when victory is well in hand or (2) when things are not going well. Yes, I know Van Buren got playing time against SLU but he should have started that game and played the entire game as we now keep seeing that something is wrong with Nuss. But it just doesn't happen enough. When is the last time LSU removed a quarterback for the backup during a game that we were still in but things were going badly.?
