Back from Seattle...observations

1. Seattle is a great city! Very clean and easy to get around. Often, when you travel outside of Louisiana, you are diappointed by the food. Not in Seattle. Never had one bad meal.
2. Nice to wear sleeves below your elbows in September. Actually felt like football weather.
3. LSU fans took over a major US city. Everywhere you went in downtown Seattle.....LSU fans. And that was on Thursday.
4. Seattle doesn't understand the magnitude of pre-game "preparation". Our rented boat ran out of beer despite numerous warnings that it could happen. Oh, and we hadn't even left the dock when it happened.
5. There are some SERIOUSLY wealthy folks in Seattle. Sailed by Bill Gates' home. He has a trout stream that runs through the home and gives all of his guests microchips so their favorite art, music and lighting automatically appear when they enter a room. His neighbors feature a guy with a retractable roof so his guests can appreciate his art collection in natural light and a guy who has a full T-Rex fossil in his living room.
6. LSU's D is a 1st and 2nd down monster! 3rd and long........not so much.
7. Wind was swirling around pretty good in the stadium which may explain some of the bad punts. We could make a comparison to UW's punter's performance but see #6.
8. Russell Sheppard was jacked up before the game. Bouncing around, waving his arms. I can promise you he wouldn't have pitched it if he had lined up in the Wild Tiger. But I guess we'll never know.
Overall, great experience. Baton Rouge may be flat as a pancake and hot as hell but it's still the best venue in college football....bar none! Seattle was great but can't wait for Saturday night in Death Valley!!

Just watched the replay on CST. They were ripping heads off on 1st and 2nd down. Secondary needs some work
