Would you consider Auburn's offense more like A&M, Arkansas, or Miss State?

To me we had a much tougher time stopping Miss State because there was more of a passing threat. Against Auburn we can stack the box and make Marshall try and beat us in the air. Ill take our corners over their receivers all day

LSU has great DBs...Auburn has at least two WRs heading to the NFL, but I agree, if they run on LSU, the game could get out of hand. We have to trust our strongest group on D.

MSU. Auburn spreads you out to run in and off tackle. They are a running team first and foremost, but love to hit you with a deep pass just when you start to over-commit to stopping the run.

The problem with shutting down AU is that you may stop them for a while, but eventually someone on defense misses an assignment or takes a bad angle, then their backs are off to the races

Their receivers are good. 1 and 1 You would have to favor them against anyone in the country. Great test for our corners without a doubt. Marshall is good, we will not be able to just stack the box and stay in the game.
We will have to control the game on at least one side of the ball to have any chance.
I really cant choose between the 3 listed Auburn is different. Marshall is accurate enough and has an absolute cannon for an arm. He runs the running game almost to perfection. Malzahn is lucky to have had him , getting his offense off the ground. We are in deep shite unless Harris gets hot and our OL decides to block someone.

Marshall is good at quick pass routes within 2 seconds to release and does it with velocity and accuracy.

I do not think we stop them every possession but we have the tools to do well also and should make it very competitive and even be able to attain victory.

timm,
Im optimisitic we make a game of it. We will have to play great to get out of there with a win, but LSU is a big game team.
Geaux Tigers.

But to think u can stack the box and beat AU is not giving Marshall, their NFL WR's or Malzahn enough credit.

It's Miss State and Aggs together... They are all very similar... K State... Repeating K State, shut down Auburn. I think we just need to watch the tape a couple times and roll the ball out there. WE ARE GOING TO BEAT AUBURN.
