People overreact too much. It's a road loss to a top 30 rpi team

You beat Oklahoma you can go 11-7 and win a couple of sec tourney games. 12-6 if you lose to Oklahoma.

Because we were missing a couple key pieces and because we have Ben Simmons, the committee takes those things into account

13-5 in conference with a win against OU and we're in.

We just need to take care of business in our next 2 at home and we'll be 4-1 in conference.

Everyone just needs to relax a little bit. We have a ton of quality games left on the schedule and we just need to be consistent and not lose to any bottom feeder teams.

Before the season I was hopeful we could get somewhere near four or five seed. Now I just wanted to get in and maybe be an 8 or 9 seed like last year

For once in LSU's basketball history, it will get more than nine lives by the committee because of who are best player is. They want Simmons in the tournament because it will bring ratings

I think we will get in

Also, say you win at Rupp, at Columbia, at tamu...those outweigh losing on the road to Bama or Auburn. So the number itself can be fluctuated.

You need a little more contempt. And remind us that we didn't make the tournament back to back since the 90's but leave out the final 4's.

We still have room to get in as an at-large, but that window closes exponentially with any loss from here on out

Alls we have to do is win, like, 12 in a row and we're good.

We'd basically have to win out only, or lose 1-2 more games. For the last time fans Johnny Jones is not a good coach. If we could keep him in the athletic department and he could help with recruiting it would be great. After Ben leaves we need a new coach.

We have very little margin for error. Must win against OU.

Winning 20 games is no longer the barometer for getting into the tournament. Losses (quality of) are what matters. This team with its OOC schedule cannot afford to lose more than 9 games total (tall order at this point). The only saving grace would be winning SEC tourney.

Realistically we are playing for a 4 or higher seed in NIT.

yeah, fla had lost 4 of their last 7. this was a team not playing well. got utterly destroyed by a mediocre tenn team. it's not overreacting. lsu should have and needed to win this one. the committee wants to see road wins against top 50/tourney teams. lsu has yet to do that and the season is half way over.

this thread is hilarious with the chill, relax people.
