WacoTiger? You should call yourself WACKOtiger!

LSU, it's players (especially), and the fan base deserve a coach that is on par with what running an LSU football has to offer. We get unfathomable talent, year in and year out. I mean kids who play their hearts out, and takes tremendous pride in representing this university.

I know that Les will always be good enough for 9-10 win seasons each year. Always losing a game or two over bad clock mgt, etc. Not finishing, etc.

It just pains me to see the talent that comes thru, and all the support the team gets from the school, to the fan base, as well as pretty much the entire state not being used to it's potential.
Forgive me for saying this but we actually can be better! Yes, BETTER! Did you get that WACKOtiger!

We've got everything that is required already in place, and have had it for quite some time. Now we deserve a coach that is on par with everything else! We pay top five money, we deserve a top 5 coach!

I ask you, in all honesty, is Les truly a top five coach?

Good enough for 9 -10 win? How about 13 wins in 2012, 12 wins in 2010, 12 wins in 2007? Is that not good enough for you? Sure, we lose 9 players early to the NFL from a championship defense and we only lose 2 games this year by a combined 6 points on the road and our season sucks? I'm sorry, but you are an idiot and not an LSU sport's fan.

How could an evangel fan from Roanoke Texas even know what Wacko is?

How can you "truly" say that Les Miles is not a Top 5 coach? He has more wins over his tenure at LSU than any other SEC coach, including Saban. He has been ranked in the top 5, the top 10 and the top 20 more weeks than any other LSU coach.

Who do you think gets all this talent? Do you just think it magically appears? They come because of Les Miles and our program. We didn't get this talent before Saban and Miles.

Do you even know what clock management is or do you just listen to the TV announcers from your living room watching the game? Saban makes bad clock management decisions all the time, do you criticize him? Should he be fired?

You are sadly mistaken if you think we can be better than where we have been for the last 12 years. This is LSU's hay day. These are the golden years of LSU football. I know, I've lived with LSU football for over 40 years and I've seen the abyss.

If I had to guess, you are probably under the age of 30 and have never experienced a down year in your 10 years of watching LSU football. Grow up, mature and support LSU and Les Miles. It will enrich your life and make watching LSU sports more fun.

In 1989, when my first child was born, if you would have told me that we would go to and win a national championship in his lifetime, I would have told you that you were crazy. In 2003, if you would have told me that we would go to not 1 but 2 more national championships after 2003 and win 1 of those, I would have told you that you were crazy. Enjoy the moments. It doesn't get any better for LSU football than the last 12 years. Les Miles is our coach and I am damm glad and proud that he is. I enjoy every minute of our season. You should as well.

Have a great day.

Well said Wackotiger.

Unfortunately, I'm pushing 50, from La, grew up of course a tiger addict, and am a family member of one the best coaches in state history. Our program has sent countless players into the program.

Our perspectives are just different. I see the program from what it should, and can be. I don't think about what it was long ago. That's not relevant today. Saban has Bama in a place where yes they're loaded, but every week, they see their team so well prepared, and playing up to their potential. If you can honestly say that our guys are as well coached, and play up to their potential every time they take field, then we just don't see things the same way.

Kids want to go play where they can perform and be coached up to their potential, and on a team that plays up to their potential, and has the expectation of winning a championship every year.

I think it would be a lot easier just to replace you as a fan. I have several Texas friends who would give their left nut if their school was anywhere close to be where LSU has been for the last 12 years. You are easily replaceable as a fan and it wouldn't cost LSU anything. If you have season tickets, which I doubt, we have more than enough on the waiting list to buy your tickets. I drive 920 miles RT for every home game. Do you? I have been attending LSU games since 1968, have you? I can tell you, we don't need you in our stands. Starting with you, out of the love of this program and it's future, we must look at which fans are out there that would give us that advantage back, so that we can not only stay competitive with, but get back that advantage and keep that way for the future. Do us a favor - please resign and give up your LSU admiration. It will be easier on you and on us.

Les is about to pull his best recruiting class and next years is shaping up to be special too and you want to fire the coach and set us back years. Dude you are stupid. And quit calling wacotiger names he has more sense than you.

Boys, it's mindsets like yours that hold this program back. The pinnacle is still reachable again, but we're slowly letting it slip. I hope we don't become draped in mediocrity like so many in our position that came before us.

If we want these classes to continue, and even become "Monster" again, it takes championships.
It takes a commitment to excellence. If you feel like Les is the absolute best we can do, then so be it. What we've seen over the last 5-6 years is what we'll continue to get. The proof is in the pudding.

says you. we are not letting anything slip.

it takes championships

LSU won the SEC championship in 2011. but i guess that doesn't count. we have to win as many as saban for some people. i got news for you, if LSU took your stance we'd be firing coaches every 3 or 4 yrs and the taf would go broke paying off buyouts. every time our team loses a game it's the same old thing; the same delusional "fans" come out of the woodwork and toss out all of these "can't miss coaches" out there and demand we hire one of them.

You mean like LSU's program? The same LSU team with more players in the NFL than any other team. LSU played in the BCS National Championship game in 2012 and was 1 minute away from another national championship game (and likely victory) last year. That is a program slipping away? We put 9 players, just from the defense, in the NFL and our program is slipping away? What games have you watching? It could not have been LSU's games.

Was Bama so prepared last year against A&M? I don't think so. Was Bama prepared against A&M this year? I don't think so. Was Bama prepared against LSU last year in BR (even though it won)? I don't think so. Everyone agreed that Miles out coached Saban last year. How about 2011 when we beat Bama in Bama? I don't think so. This is not long ago. This is just in the last 2 years. I would agree that Miles got out coached in the 2012 BCS game, but that is only 1 of the last 3 games they have played each other.

Funny, when we beat Bama in 2011 at their place, I think the Gumps wanted to fire Saban. Both fan bases have short memories and our fan base doesn't appreciate what we have. We don't have a top 5 coach -- we have a Top 2 coach. I'll take Les Miles over every coach in the country, including Saban.
