I'm nervous about pretty much any LSU game but surprisingly, not this one. I can't explain it - just not scared of Bama.

Nope. We have nothing to lose because most people expect us to. You, on the other hand, have everything to lose. west championship, conference title, national title....it's all on the line this weekend for ya'll.
Very, very true. We lose and I think we win out and go 10-2. Most people thought with our schedule this was very realistic. In fact many thought we would win only 7 games this year. We are playing with "House Money" and will be loose.
We finish 11-2 with a Cap 1 win over frigging over rated Iowa and I will call it a good year. We whip Bama and play UF again it will be awesome.

Dude... what is that? I am exactly the same way. At first I thought it was denial. I have no anxiety at all. I was more nervous when we played 2008 winless Washington at home to open the season. (I was there too. I don't know what it is... but I am very confident.

Bama is nervous and LSU is loose. We are not supposed to win and LSU / Miles play very well in games where we have NO CHANCE.

I believe everyone claiming Bama and Florida as the default teams playing for the SEC championship will pump up the Tigers, and I have a sneaky suspicion that the MAD HATTER will be in full effect today, that crazy bastard!!!

How do y'all feel?
I am very relaxed...I am sure once the game starts I will be nervous...but this year, I have had my expectations in check.. (9-3 prediction), but now I think 11-2 is possible
in 2003 and 2007....I would be sky high already, flags out on the house, ect....those teams, I expected to win to every game and win it all.. This team, is close, but I don't think we are ready for the big time.
LSU is going to give Alabama a war today...the LSU players are expecting to win.... it all depends on how well JJ plays....Bama is likely going to win the battle in the trenches, so I give them the edge...but I still think LSU could win...but I don't expect victory like in the championship years...so maybe that is why I am relaxed?

The ESPN interview with Saban just now - he looked nervous as hell. And the exact opposite is the case with Miles. I love it!

sometimes people just know they are about to TigerBait.... They just sense there is another Big Cat lurking, but they can't see him, but can feel the pounce is about to happen in any moment... Horribe feeling I would think

I kind of envy all the young pups here. They're not jaded or haunted by the horrible past years of Bama domination in this series like us Old Farts.
In games like this where both teams are fairly equal, I can't help but have the ghosts of games years ago pop up. I believe, just as in those years, LSU can win but that somehow, someway, the Tide will manage to come out on top and I'll be disappointed once again.
Rantards, forgive me!

I'm still jaded, too.
