It's uncanny how teams are getting slot receivers wide open on the Tiger defense. Not just Florida and Texas, but NW State, Vandy, etc. There are problems.

I’ve never made excuses for Aranda or apologies.
But this defense has been hamstrung with injuries all year.
Facts aren’t excuses. They are facts.
Missed tackles, playing soft, missed assignments are all an issue here. I’ve lost a little confidence in Aranda myself but I’m very far from calling for his head.
LSU scoring fast mean the defense plays more and gets worn out faster. It’s the catch 22 of having one of the most prolific offenses in the nation.
I’m elated we are in the position we are right now and ranked #2 in the country. LSU football is actually fun to watch now with this offense playing lights out.
If these issues can’t be fixed and Aranda grows inept in his ability to field a quality defense, then and only then is it time to replace him.
