2011 had best defense in history of college football. Tragedy that had to beat bama twice.

The 2011 special teams, largely due to TM7, were amongst the best ever too. He almost single handedly turned around the two games leading up to the rematch, when the offense with he who shall remain nameless running it, was putrid. And really, every phase of ST excelled.
This year's special teams will cost us a game or two before all is said and done. Other than the one return that White took to the house, all phases of ST is horrific.

2011 absolutely wouldn't have been farting around with the likes of Syracuse and E.Mich I can tell you that.
And great is probably an overused word but despite how it ended I still think you could consider that 2011 team great.
This one has done little besides crushing what has turned out to be an awful Auburn team, to merit greatness. We'll see.
