in '07, LSU was already in the locker room when Florida started jumping on the eye, as shown in the video.
in '09, the team was still on the field for pregame. i remember the officials knew what was about to happen, and they all started congregating at midfield. when florida did their final punt to the return man at mid field, the officials immediately started pushing the gators off the eye, and the LSU players started moving to midfield. words were exchanged, but the officials did get the gators off the eye and had them huddle around the 35.

Yes! I was there sitting on the sidelines by the Florida bench. Urban Meyers stood watching with a smile on his face. Classless as they come.

I still can't make myself care if a team stomps around on the eye. It's all just a show.
