Kleinpeter published an article just before the story broke that Alleva was now willing to give 3-year contracts, when he would only give 2 last off-season. So I would presume it is 3, but I obviously don't know for certain.

I am not surprised by this at all. I was saying yesterday that Alleva's best shot to keep his job was for Les to win big next season. I had a feeling he wasn't going to skimp when it came to DC shopping this time around.

It sorta looks like JA ineptitude with Les firing has the two linked together. When Les goes JA is gone too.
