If they have a 5 star linebacker-hell yes. We could instantly get rid of our only weakness for the year. That being said, I don't know what the hell they have up there?

We need a pass catching tight end.

Mauti would be the only one. Good friend of mine and Id love to see him in P&G and win a ring. Don't think he will though

And what exactly do you base this assumption on?

LSU finally has some talent at LB. It would be hard for him to see playing time here. Marginal talent, oft injured. Would have a little more than a month to prepare. Just not an ideal situation for him. SELU or maybe ULL he could walk in and start and still be close to home. May be better fits. Even Tulane. im sure Johnson would welcome his leadership

Sound reasonable. I don't remember much about the kid honestly so that is why I asked but I thought he was supposed to be elite and has college ball experience. Linebacker isn't exactly a spot we typically excel at as well. Although, I think that will change with the haul of linebackers we just pulled in.

Gerald hodges and Mauti if healthy would def crack the two deep if healthy.

There are probably 5 or 6 players at Penn State who could make the team at LSU
