LSU #24

24. LSU TIGERS

Who’s gone: Duop Reath, Randy Onwuasor, Aaron Epps, Jeremy Combs, Mayan Kiir, Galen Alexander
Who do they add: Naz Reid, Emmitt Williams, JaVonte Smart, Darius Days, Kavell Bigby-Williams
Projected starting lineup: Tremont Waters, JaVonte Smart, Skylar Mays, Naz Reid, Emmitt Williams
LSU is really young. They are also really talented. Waters is so entertaining, and the including trio of Smart, Reid and Williams is very good. Effort will be a key, as will their ability to play together, but they have a chance to be really good.

Don't agree with this, though all 5 will play significant minutes.

Will Wade is and this crew are going to fun to watch. Might be one of the most memorable basketball seasons in a long, long time.

It will be a perfect way to wash down the shame from the inevitable turd that this football season's going to be.

Waters
Smart
?
Reid
Bigby-Williams

With Emmitt, Mays and Days getting a ton of minutes. Not sure who will be at the 3 if Sampson leaves, I have feeling Wade will want 2/3 PGs out there at a time, not all 3, so they can always have fresh legs at the 1.

This is a realistic ranking to start the season Wade proved he can coach, and with significantly less talent had his team on the bubble. If this team finished as a top 20-25 team next year I would be very happy with how far we have come. The future only looks brighter for this basketball program

Ton of minutes, but I don't think he starts unless he's at the 3.

Bigby-Williams is a huge center we've been missing and Naz Reid is a lottery pick.

With our roster, anything worse than this is a disappointment if we're being honest.

Starting lineup is going to change based on our opponent. Only player who is 100% garunteed to start every game right now is Waters.

With that said, it doesn’t matter who starts. Wade will play whoever gives us the best chance to win based on that given matchup.

ETA: I doubt he starts Reid and Kavell against Auburn when they’re playing tempo but I bet he does against A&M if they’re trying to play bully ball.

Bigby Williams is nothing more than a shot blocker/defender at best.

He's not starting over Reid and E. Williams

Skylar Mays will start. It's almost a forgone conclusion.

Wade absolutely loves the guy, not to mention he will be our most seasoned player on the team. His steadiness will be much needed.

I know everyone is in love with Williams right now after the Jordan Brand Classic, but he's actually a perfect player to come off the bench. He's a guy who comes in after our team has started off sluggish and he comes in and gives a boost. There is no shame in coming off the bench, playing 25+ minutes and

Yea, so you don't bring a guy like that off the bench when you're down 10 points in the 1st half. You bring offense and excitement off the bench
