Cajun softball used to be a national top tier top program. They have slipped over the last 5 years or so -- this is a fact -- when was the last time they went to the WCWS?

2014. Might've gone in 2015 if ULL didn't walk everyone who ever played softball at Auburn to blow a lead with 2 outs in the 7th.
They slipped this year but they've been pretty consistent. Top 15-20 program with a WCWS appearance every 5 years or so. Yvette got them to their highest point 25 years ago with 3 WCWS appearances in 4 years but many are still butthurt about her leaving.

Call he was still pissed about could have gone either way really.

I love LSU but this play was a seriously blown call. Easily overturned and I am not sure how in the world he missed it to begin with. The angle in this link clearly shows the runner was out by a long shot.

Play at the plate

ULL just can't buy a break at Tiger Park.

Meh.. lost head coach and two best hitters a month before the season. Ace pitcher is a redshirt freshman.

Cajuns gonna be alright.

Bigger problem for them is that more and more P5 schools are allocating budget to softball.. They'll have to basically win 95% of their games in the Sunbelt and a few against ranked teams to have a shot at a super host site, or even a regional host
