Ok, thanks.
Nice rebuttal when you can't defend your bullshite claims when you are called on them. Claiming this kid has a fragile ego is beyond stupid. If you claimed he's fragile against pressure, fine. To claim he's fragile against having someone behind him when he could've easily transferred the past 3 seasons shows how little you know. He could've transferred after last season if what you claim is true, yet he magically didn't for that weak ego.
Again, your bias is showing, and if you literally think every throw not in stride is a bad throw then you obviously hate every NFL QB including Drew Brees.

You obviously have way too much fricking time on your hands. Geez...

Not really, you are just being inflammatory and douchey and therefore not worth my time.
If you really think I'm talking about him as a person and not as a football player, you are incomprehensibly stupid.

Sure I am, because I am calling you out for your bullshite analysis of Lee's "ego" as a QB.

Where did I claim this was about him as a person? You are the one saying the kids ego is so fragile that if JJ is just brought back on the team he's going to crack and not be able to handle him being there in the back of his mind. All that, yet it didn't seem to make him crack the last 3 years, even when his better play merited JJ being benched and Lee at least given a shot as the starter.

I don't think he is saying that at all. Instead, I think he is referring to Lee's confidence as the QB for LSU. Bringing JJ back will not help his confidence, and I agree with that sentiment. Perhaps "ego" was a bad word to have used.

Kids do not always transfer for their "ego". That shite gets overplayed on this site. Lee stayed at LSU for tons of different reasons, and one of them was so he could continue to practice and be ready to play at any time. That is nice and it happens with thousands of athletes at colleges across the country. He could have also transferred and he would have had every right to do so. Either decision does not make him any more or less of a man.

If you've watched Jarrett Lee from about midway through 2009 on and thought he took the field and played with confidence, I don't know what to tell you.
He plays timid/gunshy/afraid and he has for a while now. It's just as apparent as JJ and his whiny, pouty face.

Let me guess, he was gunshy on 1 play against Auburn last season and that equaled him in 2008-2009?

Sure as hell looked really gunshy against those blitzes against UF last year. Looked gunshy against Bama. Looked gunshy leading us back against UT.

Yeah, the whole transfer thing is pretty ridiculous.
Lee seems like a smart, nice kid. I'm sure he realizes that outside of college, his playing days are numbered. So it's either, "hey I can transfer and play out the glory days at some small, shitty school" or I can stay at LSU, get a good degree where I'm surrounded by friends I've made the past 3+ years and then probably wind up with a great job and great memories. It's not like anyone is begging him to get a free ride here...

Lee had a solid game but can someone please tell him to add a lil more zip on those passes to the flats?!! I mean DAMN SON! There is too much hangtime on these short throws... I dont know maybe Im wrong and Im just sufferring from some PTSD.

I have very little optimism that either of those two (JL and JJ) will give us anything more than what we've seen of them the past 4 years.
Agreed. It's hard for me to see a 14-0 or 13-1 season with the QB's we have.

Can't argue against the point and run away. Why is that not surprising given that you love to hold Lee to some ridiculous standard over 1 game.

A few people were critical of his touch passes to Peterson during the game, but I thought he threw the proper pass on the majority of his throws. It may not have been very accurate at times, but it was usually the right kind of pass.

Your analysis is crap. First off, if the receiver gets both hands on the ball, which happened over and over. They are suppose to catch it. Your threw it off his back foot, fails to mentioned that he was fixing to take a hit and had to throw the ball before he could set his feet. You have never played football or QB but you are some kind of expert. What do you do for a living? NFL scout? Or Wal-Mart?

You don't have a point. And I already argued against whatever it is you think you are trying to say.
It's pretty clear you're incapable of thinking rationally.

Nice effort on the break down - well done. Ahh the power of a screen shot.

so he's wrong?
2 hands on the ball and you excuse the WR for dropping it?
