If this all plays out and Les is fired, I hate it for him. Guy has ran a clean program, been a great role model and father figure, won a lot of games, etc.
It might be time to move on, however. I do think he deserves one more year to right the ship as he has done before. I realize we are an extremely young team, with I think 14 of our 22 starters being freshman or sophomores. No one really expected this to be the year for us. Everyone expected next year to be our championship run. So while I understand the reaction, I do think it's a tad bit of an over reaction. Anyone who couldn't see this team wasn't that good all year, then they were blinded by the purple and gold glasses.

Of course I do. I don't think that there's a single person on here that has issues with Les as a person. He's constantly entertaining with the media, you can tell that he loves LSU and Louisiana and even before Sid, everyone knew what type of heart that he had. Sid's story just showed the rest of the nation what LSU fans already knew.
I'd love nothing more than to see the Tigers succeed under Les. Sadly, it's become painfully obvious that it may not happen any more. I'd love to see him stay with LSU in some manner but if he moves on and lands elsewhere, I'll definitely pull for him and his team...provided that they aren't playing the Tigers, of course.
