Alabama keeps using ex players in practice, is this legal?

It's legit, Marshawn Lynch practiced with Cal earlier in the season.

No, Alabama does whatever they want and never face any repercussions. They probably didn't even bother to check with their compliance department to see if it was legal or not.

LSU can't use ex player because they play on Sunday's now.

Michigans heisman trophy candidate is 200 pounds and has played at defensive end. Means th8 playing defensive end wasn't that big a stretch

I believe during the A&M game they said something along the lines of it being legal as long as they didn't announce it until after the practice occurred.

I would think that it would be in their NFL contract that they can't do those things to risk injury
