Alabama Crowd Noise

I went to the game last night with 2 of my buddies.
We all 3 came out of that game shocked how bad their crowd is with noise.
Death Valley is 5x as loud especially for a game of this magnitude.
Couple late 3rd downs in the 4th sounded like an average ole miss game in Death Valley. We were shocked. Any others that went agree??
The atmosphere and lightning was legit but man I was shocked Of how quiet it was.

I bet a big part of that is that they couldn't stop our offense. an efficient offense can shut a crowd up quickly

Just going by TV...Minnesota crowd was waaaay better

I legitimately think a lot has to do with their student body makeup. Say what you will, but through the decade of dominance, Alabama has seen a shocking spike in out-of-state students.
These kids aren’t all coming from Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina. A substantial portion are from the New England area, California, Texas, and such. At the end of the day, unlike the Alabama kids and surrounding states, they don’t really care about SEC football, just the tailgates and postgame parties.

I was at the game, and when Waddle scored on the punt return, the noise in there was legit. I was directly in front of the student section in the LSU end zone.

Seemed loud when they were confident. We knocked the wind out of them with the early lead. The only times after the first 10 minutes that it really got loud again was on the fluke touchdown plays and then when LSU was on offense on those fourth quarter drives. Decent crowd, honestly. Just one in disbelief that the empire was crumbling.
