I think Green is better than Julio, and I've watched Julio since high school. Although Julio is the better overall athlete IMHO, Green makes some crazy grabs (like the final TD catch vs. LSU) that I think Julio doesn't catch as often.

Julio is somebody I would want at midfield, as he is near impossible to tackle. Green would be somebody I'd take near the redzone.

you really think aj green would start at lsu over tolliver and lafell? i don't think so. he's very good but he's not better than either of them. tolliver is much better than green after the catch and he's #2 at lsu

If they all came to LSU as freshman at the same time Green is your starter. He is a better player. Can't believe some of the stuff in this thread.

Green scares me a bit more than Jones but they're both really good obviously.

julio jones is definitely the best

but ill give you the benefit of the doubt on the one talking about the draft. im pretty sure you do know that AJ is only a sophomore.

This board is amazing..
AJ is a cheater for not getting flagged and catching everything. After watching the game, that dude is solid as there is. But behind Lafell ofcourse...right

AJ Green is pretty much literally the best player on the field everytime he steps onto it so he'll have the refs on his side. also, if you are good at the push off as a receiver, it's a deadly advantage and part of the position.

first of all i said pretty much meaning that there will be guys that will compete with him and there are a few guys out there that could be better.

fricking OWNED? did you see the play where peterson was BURNED and Cox fricked up. that's a 90 yard TD on ya boy.

that said PP is a great cb. no arguments there.

so one play makes a game

that was the only time green was remotely open when peterson guarded him

if our coaches werent being dumb and had peterson on green in the endzone, he does not score, and he gets shut down

you can backtrack, but you were implying that aj green is the best player on the field when he steps out there. aj green didnt do a damn thing in that game bc he had someone his own size on him

not saying one play makes a game at all. not even talking about the game as a whole. but in that one on one match up, that one play did mean everything.

even if yall do score there, who says you are gonna score the rest of the game

yall were absolutely shut down with the exception of one drive

we are getting off topic here. i just wanted to make sure that you really didnt think that aj green was the best player on the field when he plays. thats it

i've never seen green do anything after the catch like what tolliver has been doing this season.

NOT talking about the game. if he does score there, which he obviously should have, then does anyone think PP got the best of him? NO.

and yeah you're right AJ might not be the best player every time. but there will never be a player that is obviously better than him or anyone that he can't handle. same goes for PP, eric berry, etc...

Anyone who thinks that Jones is better than Green doesn't have a clue. Green may be the best receiver in the country. He is the sole reason Georgia's offense puts up points. The guy is a lock for the NFL First Round.
