Never said Corbin was a terrible coach. It also doesn't matter who had to build what. The fact of the matter is that Vandy has an edge over almost every team in the country. The teams that have that same edge don't elect to use the resources that Vandy does. This is a fact. It's not my opinion.
It is also a fact that Corbin has had absolutely loaded teams, and has just won his second national title. If Corbin was the greatest coach walking this earth then Vandy should have more titles. They have been loaded and have exited pre Omaha multiple times.
AGAIN..... This is not me saying I don't think there are better options than Mainieri. I just don't think Corbin is one of those options. I wouldn't be furious if Corbin was the coach of LSU, but that's not realistic because:
A) LSU doesn't have an opening for a head coach
B) I don't think he leaves Vandy anyway.
