LSU was lucky last week, but so is every team in college football every saturday. Luck is around every corner. Honestly, Florida was more lucky that LSU shot themselves in the foot in critical situations all night. If they don't Florida is not in the game. Anyone with half a brain that watched the game knows that LSU simply outplayed Fla on offense and defense.
Tennesse, yeah Dooley fricked up, but that's a part of their team isn't it? if Miles fricks up like that, you know how many people are bashing LSU and riding Tennessee? Just because you love to hate Miles doesn't mean hypocrisy is okay.
You can never say a team should have won if they didn't...because if they should have won, they would have found a way to do so. So just shut up about that.
WVU game wasn't wonderful I will admit, but it wasn't supposed to be a 45-3 shellacking and I can honestly say throughout the entire game I was never nervous.
By the way you're obviously not a fan. No fan could be that negative about their own team. I understand you're trying to be a realist, but there comes a time when you have to have faith.

Glad we won, but I can't ignore the fact that CLM will f up again. He as well as the team has always been too inconsistent.
It's like being cheated on...you try to be happy for the moment and forget about the past, but it takes a long time before you can trust them again. This win was nice and Mile bought himself some time once again, but way too often after he and the team have a good game to silence the critics they go back to the same things that started the criticism.

Miles recruits the highest character guys. They love to play for him and each other. All his guys graduate and stat out of trouble. He makes the adjustments needed to keep us on top. He is probably the most original and different coach in college football. All the other ones seem the same to me. He is very classy guy, he gave up some of his own money to give coordinators raises. When we lost to kentucky in OT in 07, miles had to track brooks down in the locker room just to shake his hand.
He kicked a poisonous thug of the team when no other coach would.
he runs a clean program.
he will land another top 3 class this year.

You can't have it both ways if you want to be taken seriously. Criticism has to be warranted and proportional. Praise has to be given when deserved. The posters always bitching and complaining about Miles and LSU on here have other things going on in their lives that are making them lash out. Bad family life, impotence, not where they thought they would be in life at this age. Adversity and challenges brings out the worst in humanity in certain cases. It's fun to watch them lash out when we don't play as shitty as they want us to. It will only get worse (more fun) as the season plays out and we keep winning.

The win was great, I'm very happy for the team and yes even for Coach Miles...but bottom line, he's not a top tier coach, and he will make another boneheaded mistake it's just a matter of time, he and/or Crowton will screw up a game. A leopard doesn't just change his spots like that.

My point is were lucky to be 6-0 and the fact were struggling against bad teams with 3 good teams coming up doesn't look good for us. We lose to bama and bama doesn't lose again...were out. Same for auburn. We cannot lose a sec game, period. I'm a lsu alum, I've supported and followed lsu sports my whole life so for you to say I'm not a fan is incorrect. I'm critical of our coach because he's horrible at managing the game at the most critical times of the game. On top of that he's done it many times. He has a 6'5" first rounder that has been underused for most of his college career. I can go on all day talking about this guy. Bottom line is that lsu can have a better head coach. I'm not making this up and in no way is anything I've stated hypocritical. Also we did beat fla and it shouldn't have been that close, but it did end up being close, and the coach made some questionable management decisions again. It's one thing to lose because of the athletes get beat, but to lose because the coaching staff isn't aware of the situation regarding time and how many timeouts the team has is unexcusable. It makes me think something isn't clicking up in his pea brain.

wtf? it was that close because our players made some dumb turnover mistakes. dont blame CLM for every little thing. he coached well and made the right play calls at the right time. be critical of the guy when he deserves it but give him credit when it is due. pathetic.

alright listen to whatever ESPN tells you to think. dont watch any more games then. we won the game in the last minute with a fake field goal and passes from JL to TT. give the guy some credit for once and stfu.
