A stat I never thought I'd see LSU this high in (Zone Read)

LSU is averaging 52 rushing yards per game out of Zone Read plays. This is 10th among all Power-5 teams.

Now, I'm thinking Saturday's game against UGA is skewing these numbers a bit because of the JB and CEH runs. I'm still impressed with how well LSU has been able to execute the Zone Read.

I could be wrong on this, but in the past, I always felt like when LSU would run a "Zone Read", especially under Les, it seemed like the play was predetermined regardless of the read. Or perhaps past QBs were terrible at those reads. I don't know.

Regardless, Joe has executed this play well this season, and it's exciting to see.

Joe ran it well VS Ole Miss and had like a 20+ yard run VS Florida

We should have ran it more VS Florida

It’s a great play when your QB is smart and had decent enough wheels.

It’s clearly something Joe is very comfortable running.
