It depends on the coach

I believe both can excel in an open offense

Lot of inexperience in the front 7 next year, plus we lose the beast that is Fournette, a once in a decade force of nature. Losing cover genius White, tackling specialist Adams, and top 2 WRs will also impact us well. The good thing is we have a Tasmanian devil at RB in Guice, bring back all QBs (if Harris stays), and everybody on the OL minus Boutte and Pocic (our entire starting lineman next year should be experienced at least a little bit). It is disappointing that Chark will be our only experienced WR next year, but at least we have the talent to have an amazing pass offense, this is similar in the front 7 as well.

Auburn will be tougher everywhere, this is the team to beat next year.

Bama will be Bama.

Florida will be much better. Next year is when experience matches talent for them.

I think Tennessee will be just as good as they were this year (a 10-2 team IMO), because they had already lost so much on their defense due to injury and still play close with any team not named Bama. Kamara is only a junior and their top 3 WRs and best TE are juniors or younger, along with the OL coming back strong. I like both QBs they have behind Dobbs and both will be better passers and one is actually a better athlete. Defensively they lose Barnett, but all the other greats are either injured right now or injured and seniors so it doesn't really matter. Shoop in year 2 will have that defense right and he shouldn't have to deal with all those injuries.

Three of those four are on the road.

Unless Ole Miss loses Freeze next year, they should be as good or better than they were this year and they'll be on the road as well. Arkansas will be better all around as well. Hell, even Miss St and Syracuse will be better, just to to make us work a lil harder for a win.

Going to be tough next year.

I think so. I think he transfers to a smaller school like Jennings did.

He'll be a senior, and with Danny coming back he really won't have a shot to play much.

I hope he comes back, but if I were in that situation I would transfer. I just wouldn't want to spend my last year of football not playing

Harris has a few better options that Jennings. He graduates. Can go where he wants.

Trust me I don't think harris is transferring to a small school you'll will be shock I think he goes in Big 12 in a air raid

Agreed. Kid is meant to be in a spread. Even pac 12 teams could use his skills. He will not be transferring to any G5 or smaller programs - unless you're talking a Houston or Memphis

Xavier Lewis (RS So.) Should step in nicely after Jamal Adams leave. Has a skill set similar to Jamal Adams.

Just warmed my heart to read that. Thanks OP! We are certainly losing some studs but have a wave of potential all conference kids waiting their turn. I like our chances baws

Xavier Lewis

Xavier is one of those that I keep waiting to see. I know he is at safety at times but I knew him as a CB. Has he fully transitioned to Safety? What is his play style?

Not to nit-pick, but Lindsey Scott will be a RS Fr. not a So.

Great list though! Gonna get even saltier when we throw in some of the stud freshmen from this year's recruiting class.
