I doubt you'd ever see a 1v1 kind of moment in the game but I wonder how Copeland would match up vs Bama's Jessie Williams.. You may see him Double Teaming Williams though.

Some thing I noticed a lot from this game..

Mingo, Montgomery, and even Freak dropped back into zones quite a bit.

For a FB, they get so few touches, that when the get their hands on the ball, they put all their heart into gaining yards. It's so fun to watch how excited they get after the run!!

Agree with all of OP's observations.

I would add Blue has very good vision and his running style reminds me a lot of Harvey Williams. Hilliard is a locomotive and i'm thinking Hill is going to be a clone. I'd like to see him get some reps in the next couple of games.

Mett will be fine. When he steps up into the pocket, good things will happen - see the play to Boone.

I love Landry's downfield blocking. Reminiscent of Michael Clayton.

Boone is an underated guy and showed great hands and route running skills.

On D I think we will continue to see Freak get better and better. Also Logan looks like a chiseled giant and will continue to wreck opposing lines.

D Jones will develop into a playmaker. Been awhile since i've seen a player standout at that position.

Our secondary is fine and will make plays. I think the coverage skills are there.

Still also weird seeing #9 and #18 line up at the DT spots

Our coaches didn't set up the touchdown that was called back. The OL did their jobs of getting downfield after the LBers. Mett and Shep did some type of audible knowing they had single coverage with a corner that would bite. The OL was not aware, they were blocking for the pass to Shep at the line of scrimmage.
