A couple of questions regarding the basketball mess

1) Why are there redactions? Why should the players benefit from anonymity? These guys aren’t minors. I’ve never see that before. We always hear what player was involved when violations are committed.

2) Did I hear correctly that there are allegations that Wade offered money to players that did not eventually sign here? So are we to believe that the player turned down Will Wade’s “dirty money” and chose to play at another school for free? (Like Zion who turned down money at Kansas and went to Duke for free)

3) What is the assistant coach that was let go accused of?

It would be almost impossible to believe that during their investigation that the NCAA didn't read texts from Wade mentioning other coaches and schools and offers they were making to recruits he was trying to get.

Players are redacted because student confidentiality is protected under various federal policies and laws.

Not in the official documents. It's usually "Student-Athlete 1" or some crap like that.
