LSU’s 714 yards vs. Ole Miss were the second most in program history, only behind 746 yards racked up against Rice in 1977.

The quarterback of the ‘77 team? Steve Ensminger.

The OC of the ‘19 team? Steve Ensminger.

The last part of that tweet needs a qualifier, but Steve is the man

Carlos Carson caught 5 TD passes that day, 4 from Ens and another from Woodley. That remains a school record.

I think he only caught 5 passes that game, and they were all touchdowns... I’m almost 70 so may not be remembering exactly! Quite the game.
