If LSU scores higher than Friday, they will be able to keep that score as part of its RQS score. This is a very important meet.

Been waiting for you to make the thread. I am going to the meet, will probably be my only meet this year as I usually prefer to just watch from home but I was thinking this meet may not be as packed as a usual Friday night SEC matchup.
Any ideas on lineups? I see this as a good time to try some new stuff out. Should Finnegan go for the 1.5 on vault? Not a lot to lose at this meet. Who gets rested and where? Hambrick is on a roll on floor but should they sit her out? Which athletes might we see for the first time and on which events? Or will DD go for the usual lineups and try to make the girls hit 24 for 24 again which is how it will be at Nationals. One problem LSU has right now is we only have one big score, all of our other scores are in the same range. So to get that RQS up we need more big scores so you hate to waste a meet and put in a bunch of new girls and rest your 9.9 girls.

Lineups will be a little different today. Usually in weekends with multiple meets we allow different opportunities on the power events usually. So we could see a little differences but not major.
I would expect to see Edwards back and Campbell will be on beam. She needs the reps
Desiderio looks to be finally coming on, she could be the difference maker down the stretch
1 1/2s are still up in the air. I don't know if DD wants to attempt them. She seems a little nervous about them. A fall could derail a meet score. But who knows, she has surprised us many times over the years
We could see Lexie on floor today. It will depend on how warm ups are and if she feels okay
But what it comes down to is how do people look in warm ups. If they looks rough they will be pulled.

I did hear they might rest Myia on floor. They did so with gnat last year for a meet.

Texas Womens University
They usually have solid teams, not LSU's level of course but they usually have well coached teams

I'm so confused. I thought they were out of town?

They competed in a quad meet on Friday in Mizzou
But they also have a meet today at 2:30
Only weekend during regular season where we have 2 meets on one weekend

Finnegan is doing 2 events today, not sure which but if I had to guess I would say bars and beam.

Curious if DD puts Ruby back out on vault.
She had a way better vault on Friday. She needs another confidence booster
We need more 10.0 vaults

Would be cool to see Dean make an appearance, she is very talented

I have a feeling Ruby will definitely do vault. We might even see her do floor as well if they need to put her in because they sit Finnegan and Hambrick. Just depends who is resting and who warms up well. But I definitely think she will vault, she has to keep working that vault.

Odd question: I am going with my sister-in-law because her son and husband can't go. Two adults are taking their place (myself and my husband) but one of the tickets is technically a child's ticket. Will they even notice or look for that on the ticket when we scan it to get in? I am not trying to scam them out of $2. If I have to I will just buy a ticket at will-call and then sit in their season ticket seat next to them. I just don't want to go wait in that line if I can just get in on their child ticket.

Wonder if DD will let Kirby do bars. Kirby has looked phenomenal in practice on bars as of late. She is very clean. Dismount seems like an automatic stick.
Obviously only concern is the transition

I think Kirby will be in on bars if anyone is rested. The problem is bars is not usually an event where you need to rest anyone and it is a good event for LSU. DD has to balance getting these girls experience but also put up a decent score for RQS.

I haven't heard of any issues honestly, you can try but for the most part they are pretty good about it all.
I haven't had that happen. how does the crowd look?

I've been very impressed with Cannamela lately. She has been a rock for us. She has a lot of ability on floor as well but vault she is extremely consistent. She was robbed of a 9.9 last meet with that stuck vault, she has excellent form

I am getting there at 2 so I will let you know.
Are you going to at least be able to watch on SEC+? I hope we don't run into parking issues with baseball going on.
