6-6 book it. With crowton, stud and miles leading the ship, we will play undisciplined and unorganized with no edgy playcalling and lack of focus and attention to detail. Defense and special teams will be good. We will not win the west again with Miles, period... Not against Saban, Mullen, Petrino, etc...
You guys that think that Miles is on par with these coaches are fricking idiots.... Stick your heads back in the sand. He has no identity as a coach and his teams play inconsistent football with no discipline. I love LSU Football and want better for my money and LSU's money than this.
also, If you can't recruit, develop and coach offensive and defensive linemen, you will not succeed with any consistency in the SEC, period.
tell us how you really feel bud...let it all out!

Good assumptions.
Miles is a nice guy but not close to being an elite coach.
We supposedly have all this talent that was signed the last 5 years under Miles but we struggle against mediocre teams and get slapped in the trenches.
Terrible player development and fundamental coaching. Nothing close to being elite.

8-4 at best, with no chance at SECCG, especially as long as Miles is coach! And JJ improving every game! Jefferson improving every game? Hah! He is nothing more than a middle of the road MAC QB at best. He took horrible sacks all year long, some of the worst coming in LSU's last games! He did not improve, and he is about all he ever will be, right now, and that ain't much!

Young kid at 19 with terrible coaching leads to no player development.
Miles chose this group of coaches and players. His days of having the ride on Saban's efforts are over.

Back to the original question, hell no. Anything less than beating Bama and winning the West will be the end of the Les Miles era. Those of you old Dinardoites that love to wallow in mediocrity need to go root for ULL.

hey hause, go talk to Sammobile, Roaad, MightyYat, and TheDoc
They all think JJ is god's greatest gift to LSU football...

Nothing guaranteed around here anymore though
Since when has anything ever been guaranteed in football? This fan base needs to grow a pair and quit acting like LSU is and always has been the premier program in the nation.

Need to beat the toothless gumps next year. Period. Losing to them on a regular basis is not acceptable. Years ago, understood...they had the bear, and they had the facilities and $$... No more. We match them with facilities and $$ now, and Les better find a fricking way to beat them next year.
...and yeah yeah, you stupid fricking gumps, don't tell me about your stadium expansion going over 100K this year, blah blah....LSU's will do the same (prob near 110K) within the next 5 to 10 years...so stfu.....

I did grow a pair, which is why its time to stop being scared ninnies afraid of every change that might happen. Its time to demand that LSU strive its hardest to become the best football team in the SEC. That takes balls, but accepting mediocrity and being to much of a wuss to say when something isn't right is truly ball-less move.

i'd be happy, just cause i'd be alive.
but i understand others being unhappy, 'cause like lincoln said: a man's is as happy as he makes his mind up to be.
i mean, look at how unhappy the ranturds are b/c of .... o heck, pick one of 9 reasons, as long as it's b/c the ranturd is smarter than miles or a better player than jj.

Oh ... so you're going to "demand" this of LSU?

10-2 mediocre?
Posted on 12/17/09 at 8:48 am to b1gt1mer
You like watching other teams in the SECCG instead of LSU? Cuz that's what 10-2 or 9-3 means in the SEC...can't beat bama, no SECCG. If you are ok with third place or fourth place, then sit back and enjoy.

If he goes 10-2 and 6-2 next year, he will be far from being on the hot seat. It will take atleast 4 losses to get his arse warm.

True...signed Mark Richt.

Bet you said that in 2003 and 2007 too
Posted on 12/17/09 at 11:10 am to b1gt1mer
As long as Bama doesn't win the SEC again I won't be TOO upset. I really want at least a BCS bowl game though.
