develop might not be the right word...it just seems under Les we rarely play as well as we can.

I think the squad will be pretty darn good the next couple of years, very fast and athletic.

Offense * denotes returning starter

QB-Jefferson/Shepard *
RB-Ford (I think he wins the job)
FB-Allen/Worle
WR-Randle
WR-Terrance *
LT-Faulk/Shaw/Barksdale
LG-Josh *
C-T-Bob *
RG-Blackwell
RT-Barksdale/Hardwick *
TE-Peterson

I think Chris Tolliver will be the #3 WR and Shep will get looks also. Mike Davis might crack the 2 deep as a true frosh. And if Lache signs he will definitely get playing time, Murphy(recovery?) and Ridley could be factors too . The O-line will be solid and very mobile.

Defense * returning starter

DE-Montgomery
DT-Nevis *
DT-Downs
DE-Pep/Aghyere(sp?) *
LB-Sheppard *
LB-Baker
LB-Mingo/Francois/Prater
CB-Peterson *
CB-Eugene/Claiborne *
S-Chad Jones *
S-Taylor/Loston *

I think the D will be very very fast. I think Davenport, Edwards and Hicks will all contribute on the D-line and maybe even Clement too. The linebackers will be young but extremely fast and get to the ball quickly. The secondary will be the best in the nation.

Why in God's name would we want Jack Del Rio?

He's won in the NFL, works for the worst franchise in the NFL, and like Pete C. and Saban (ulta-NFL failure along with Spurrier and Butch Davis) has good leadership and charisma to recruit and is a proven NFL coach and has lasted longer than most. He was my #1 choice when we hired Miles.
