You can't give credit to Miles for recruiting Jarret Lee then benching him. By the way, Jarret Lee sucks, just like all the othe QBs Miles has recruited except for Perriloux, who is a criminal.

You can when he beat #2 Alabama in their house.

He didn't that year. Facts and stuff.

Now the rant narrative has changed to "Jarrett lee sucks". For the last 3 years, he was a ranter hero.

So why didn't he play in LSU's last 4 or so games?

You've been arguing this very point with me for 2 days.
No I have argued that they were bad when we played our two toughest opponents. Bad against Bama twice and bad against Georgia. And the enitre time my point has been that Miles being stubborn is the main cause for this. He ran out with vanilla gampelans and never adjusted to what the D was doing on the field. The one time our D didn't play incredible, we were beaten 21-0.

We will never know, but it sure couldn't have hurt.
Also feeds right into my point. Miles is still doing the same things today. No adjustments to our young QB's ability. Running the same guy out there over and over even though he is showing no capability to make a play. Blaming execution for his inability to adapt to the type of teams we face every year. The SEC west is better than it used to be. We are still playing a game that worked back when Bama was all we had to worry about.

Where have I heard that before?

Do you have something to actually say or are you just going to keep asking stupid questions?
This year is nothing like 2011. We aren't dealing with which senior QB should be playing. When Les tried making a change, Harris shat the bed. I don't like that more than anyone else. But that doesn't make this year's situation anything like 2011.

I wasn't comparing seasons.

Not from what he did at LSU.

Then where else did you "hear it before?" I should have stuck with my original assessment for you and just ignored you.

Yea, I'm sure they were much more concerned with his play at Jack State than his winning the SEC Championship game.
And JJ is playing pro ball. Sorry facts hurt.

From Les Miles. I understand you wanting to ignore me. Just like you ignore LSU football.
2012 3rd SEC West
2013 3rd SEC West
2014 6th SEC West
We all agree he's a great recruiter. So what's the problem? I'll let you figure it out.

So you are comparing seasons? Make up your mind.

Ok.JJ was a superstar and played great on 1/9/12.

than his winning the SEC Championship game.
That about the only thing he did while at LSU. Come on dude....... Oh and Miles ended up having to kick him off the team after he gave him chance after chance after chance...

Good enough to get a look in the NFL.

Doesn't change the fact that LSU helped get him there.

No, I'm not. You just don't appear to have the cognative capacity to understand that
So after saying "where have I heard that before" then listing several seasons, you're telling me you're not comparing seasons?
Can I buy drugs from you?
ETA: And your video from this season pretty much is indisputable evidence that you are comparing the seasons.

I heard it in 2010 as well when JJ was struggling so bad. You are right though, it's completely different with young QB's. Harris showed some impressive attributes against MS St and a cupcake. He shite the bed running a 1930's style O in his 1 start, but we haven't seen him in two months. We have seen Jennings, who had a worse performance at home against the same cupcake, come out and run the same plays over and over without being able to put points on the board consistently. He's turned the ball over in each of the last 3 games and completed less than 50% of his passes. What Miles is doing, isn't working, yet he keeps doing the same thing each week. If Jennings knows all the plays, why haven't we seen more playaction on 1st and 2nd down like last year? I undertand if Harris gets lost in practice, but supposedly Jennings knows it better than anyone. They are tying the arm of an average QB behind his back and telling D's "this is what we are running, come and get it". And those of us questioning the man responsible for this are getting blasted. Makes loads of sense.

This is my biggest issue. Well, that and the fact that he can only make one read apparently. This offense is just so vanilla. It can work if the O line is dominant, but when they have an off game, we now see what happens.
