totally agree but we gotta have Hatch (or Lee) making completions

I don't see it. Hatch doesn't have half the accuracy that Flynn had, and Flynn wasn't exactly Mr. Accurate. Hatch's strength is his speed. Lee's strength is his arm. Both their weaknesses are their inexperience and bad decision making. Sure the passing game could open the run, but conversely, if they start making bad decisions it could get ugly REAL quick. I'd rather it be a defensive battle till the fourth where our athleticism will take over than us trying to press offensive schemes we arent ready for.

I remember in 99 vs. Auburn, we had a young QB by the name of Davey (remember him). He had a strong arm and we came out and threw. He threw 2 picks in the first quarter and we were down 17-0 before the quarter was over and 24-0 by half. And this was at home!! The LSU/Auburn game is always strange and has some unique twists. The last thing you want is to create more tales in the history of this rivalry by having a young QB attempt to pass into the teeth of that defense too early. Face it. If we can't run on Auburn decently, we're pretty much done for, unless it's a very tight game and we make a play or 2 on defense or special teams...which could very easily happen. The last time we beat AU on the plains was in 96 right? 4 turnovers I think. Raion Hill has 2 picks, one for a TD and the other off an attempted 2-point conversion which gave us 2 points we win 19-15 and only scored 9 offensive points. No TD passes. It can be done.

It will be a handoff up the middle. When is it not? Probably on 2nd down too. Then a short, safe pass on 3rd and long.

Count it.

Marks, Coleman and Blackmon have a conference in LSU's backfield with whoever happens to have the ball.

Miles will suprise everyone with JJ on the field for the first play. AU will be running around yelling wtf, wtf, wtf.... rantards will be hitting up the board with wtf, wtf, wtf .... fans watching on tv will jump up and run around the house yelling wtf, wtf, wtf.... then Miles will call a time out and say I was just funnin and Scott will get the ball up the middle for a 4.5 yard gain
